So, here is a video showing what I do with my red outfits as well as a tutorial of a glamorous neutral look that is perfect for the Holidays! Most of us will be spending the hour before pictures looking down at our smoky eye palettes in complete and utter frustration. The process may be so tiresome you decide to just throw on some lip gloss, mascara, a bit of bronzer, and be done with it.

But you shouldn't rush your beauty routine—most certainly not on such a big night! For a little bit of inspiration, we collected the six best beauty tutorials on YouTube to guide you through the process. There's a different aesthetic to each of the finished looks here, so find the one that you think suits you best. If you're truly at a loss, grab some popcorn and watch them all! Nothing will help you decide like seeing the full start-to-finish process for yourself.1. The Classic Beauty via Lisa Eldridge It's not much of an overstatement to say that Lisa is the Queen of natural-looking, luminous makeup on YouTube. This video perfectly captures her light-handed approach, as well as her uncanny ability to layer textures on the eyes for a subtle (yet majorly gorgeous) effect. If you're wearing soft pink or champagne on the big day, consider a metallic rose gold eye and a hint of color on the cheeks, as shown here.  2. The Angel via Charlotte Tilbury Sure, we all love a little luminosity with our skincare (who doesn't?) but Charlotte's real technique for nailing that ethereal, pretty glow?

And, seriously, it works! Choose a look like this (and even switch it up with pretty shades of blue) if you're going for something more romantic or Princess-like, this is the look for you. And keep the lip gloss in your purse for touch-ups throughout the night.3. The Glamour Queen via Pixiwoo One rule of thumb for those who opt for a bold lip on the night of? The eyes should sparkle! Samantha Chapman found the perfect Shu Uemura eyeshadow to mimic a glitter-meets-glassy effect, and it pairs wonderfully with a dash of liner and great lashes. We love her tip for controlling shimmery eye colors: Tap it into the lid with your fingers to avoid fall-out (which could ruin the rest of your complexion).4. The Rocker Chick via Wendy Rowe of Burberry Beauty Want to look—more or less—like you really don't care at all about being present? Your dress is short, your heels are on, and you're ready to party, not just look pretty. A quick smudge of liner—the best, youngest way to wear a smoky eye to prom, in our opinion—and a hint of contour on the cheeks is all for you.
