A friend of my grandmothers asked if I had went to Edwards-Macy's. I hadn't heard of that store so I got directions and went. What a selection of all types of gowns from evening and special events to ANYTHING bridal. I thought if I couldn't find anything here...then I wouldn't find it anywhere. I was approached by a very professional and friendly lady,Charlene, and she asked all the right questions and knew exactly what I was looking for. I tried on about 6 dresses and had 3 possibles. This was a first in any store. I finally picked one and I ordered it as well as my bridesmaids and flowergirl dresses. My mom and grandmother also bought thier dresses there. It was a very pleasent and most reassured experience I've had in a bridal shop. I will tell anyone looking for a wedding dress to go to Edwards-Macy's. I had the best experience ever!!! Everyone that worked there was so accomodating with their customers and the seamstress, Jahan, was awesome with everything needing to be altered. I thank Irene for telling me about this little treasure in downtown Lakeland!!!

I was there with 2 of my best girl friend's and this was our first stop of the day. Camille was my consultant and she was fabulous. The store was laid out in a way that made it very easy to find the style of dress I liked and pick from that area, instead of having to sort through every rack to find my dress. Camille was also watching what we picked out and had a great sense of what I liked and made great selections as well. She made the process very relaxed, fun, and very professional as well. The first dress I tried on ended up being MY DRESS!!! We had other great options, and the quality of dresses was exquisite, but nothing could compete with that one. I did go over my budget a little which I had set at $1000, but it was worth it. Camille also gave me time to discuss the dresses and prices with my friends without feeling pressured. We made one other stop that day to look for dresses, but I think we knew from the beginning we were coming back for that dress, which is what we did!

Even though the dress sold itself because it was perfect, the experience at Minerva's also made me for much more comfortable going back and knowing I made the right decision!Minervas BridalI went to Minerva's wedding dress shopping. With my consultant, MarryAnne's, help, my first day of shopping was also my last! I was shopping on a whim and Minerva's was very accommodating with booking me an appointment on such short notice. I explained to MaryAnne some of the elements I wanted in my dress and my price range and she picked out a number of wonderful dresses. She was pleasant, attentive, and sensitive to my needs and time frame. When I was having a hard time choosing between my final two dresses, she brought forth wonderful accessories to complete my look and help me finalize my decision. I never felt pressured and I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience. It was like one of the dress shopping trips you see on TLC, without all of the drama and high dollar price tags! Furthermore, Minera's and MaryAnne were wonderful in finding me my perfect dress and selling me the brand new floor gown in order to meet my short timeframe.
