Once July and August come, we will be open only one day a week. Yes, we are open year-round! No, we're not *just* for high-schoolers and proms! If you need something for a cruise, evening wedding, a quinceañera, or a company get-together, we can help! We are always taking donations, but especially of men's items. Tuxes, dress shirts, dress shoes, ties, bow ties... We're always looking for volunteers who have a couple hours a month to spare. Can you do light alterations, too? Even if you misplaced an earring or a tie, please return what you have. Our operation depends on items coming back in a timely manner so someone else has the chance to borrow it as well. We do expect to have to r...eplace some items from time to time, as accidents do happen. Lots of times, they are easy fixes that can be taken care of right away. If you cannot make your return date (located somewhere near the middle of your check-out agreement) please call us or message us here so we can adjust your date and not text you a whole bunch. Sometimes people find another event that pops up, and decided to keep it a bit longer to use some or all of it again. That's great, just let us know. The Prom Closet cannot run without volunteers. This prom season there were only 4 of us, and it made it a little difficult to spread our time evenly with 3 of us being school employees, and the 1 ...having a job that keeps her out of the area a good bit of the time. Unfortunately, that leaves us unable to arrange appointments for people that cannot come during regular operating hours. It is not a difficult job. Mostly we need people who will help re-hang and re-tag items, keep things organized, help shoppers with suggestions and such. There were a few times that it came down to possibly closing early, or not even opening if we could not cover all our bases, which leaves people unable to get the things they need. If you think you have some time to spare (even one day a month for 2-3 hours) and enjoy organizing and giving suggestions for clothing choices, we'd love to have you. Please stop by and talk to us!
